SS-31 (elamipretide), supplied as 10mg lyophilized powder. For research use only; not for human consumption.
SS-31, also known as elamipretide or MTP-131, is a synthetic four-residue peptide in the Szeto-Schiller peptide family. Its sequence is D-Arg–2′,6′-dimethylTyr–Lys–Phe–NH₂, with an amidated C-terminus and a D-arginine residue.
This product is supplied as white lyophilized powder with a labeled content of 10mg per vial. The current batch certificate reports identity by LC-MS, purity by HPLC-UV, and measured net peptide content, together with elemental impurity, endotoxin, and microbial testing. Results apply to the sample tested; measured net content is distinct from the labeled vial strength.
The molecular formula, CAS number, and molar mass shown identify the parent SS-31 peptide using PubChem CID 11764719. They do not establish the counterion or salt composition of the supplied material, which is not specified on the certificate. This product is intended for laboratory research only and is not for human or veterinary use.
How should SS-31 be stored?
SS-31 is supplied as a lyophilized powder. Follow the storage conditions on the vial label and any lot-specific instructions supplied with your order. Contact support if these instructions are missing.
